Do These Thoughts Sound Familiar?
“If I don’t get an A, I’m a total failure.”
“My friend didn’t text back. I must have done something wrong.”
“I feel nervous, so I must not belong here.”
“I should always make everyone happy.”
These are examples of what we refer to as thinking traps. In psychology, they’re known as cognitive distortions — errors in the way the brain processes information.
Cognitive distortions are unhelpful thinking patterns that trick us into seeing situations in an inaccurate or unbalanced way. They aren’t deliberate lies; they often happen automatically. But they can still lead to distorted conclusions, strong emotions, and unhelpful reactions.

Looking forward to using the materials to teach kids about social and emotional awareness. Reading through and find it very informative and well written detailed. It has activities sheets, highly recommended the resources.
I am a child therapist and I have been using the handouts in sessions with children presenting with various challenges and presentations. Very useful and awesome design.
Additionally, I think they are an awesome zoom resource.
I really like this activity. I like it they had so many famous people from all walks of life that had ADHD and I could help my student find their skills. But I was hoping there was more worksheets about then creating and finding their superhero within themselves
The color and relax coloring pages were part of a complete bundle I purchased. While I have not yet used the coloring pages (most of the kids I have for clients do not have the patience needed for the detailed color pages), I have put together the My Worry Lapbook and am planning to use the worry crafts for kids this week. The kids really like the lapbook (I have the anger one as well and have used it with several clients).
